OUR LAMBS

As a family, we are not specialist sheep farmers, but for several years now, sheep have played a vital part in our regenerative farming approach.

Sheep have a beneficial impact upon our soil fertility, and the way that they graze has great potential to reduce the weed burden for future crops - so that's very important to our chemical free way of farming.

Here, everything starts with our soil. We believe that the healthiest soil will produce the healthiest and most nutrient dense crops. These crops will, in turn, feed our pigs and produce the highest nutrient dense pork, which we believe underpins human health.

Sheep play a vital role in building our soil fertility. Our chemical free herbal leys are essentially an old fashioned mix of species suitable for grazing - containing (amongst other things) chicory, plantain and various clovers.

The inherent soil fertility, combined with this diverse mix, ensures lush, mineral rich grazing which produces the dutrient dense meat that we are delighted to bring to your table.

Meet Ben. Ben has been keeping his sheep on our farm for quite a while now. We are delighted to offer his incredible lamb, fed on our chemical free herbal leys, either for home delivery or for collection at our markets.

We only offer lamb which has been reared on our farm, so it is available seasonally. Please see our shop page for current availability.
